三保ミッドウィンター2020レポート～Miho Mid winter2020 Report～

日本RSクラス協会です。今回は1月18日(土)・19日(日)三保で行われたミッドウィンターレポートをお伝え致します。

清水ヨット協会の皆様ありがとうございます。運営メンバーは、スナイプ、モス、レーザ

ー、470など国際レース経験があり、三保や浜名湖はシーホッパークラスが最も盛んで競

技レベルが高い場所です。また多くの地元のボランティアとスポンサーの協力もあり盛大

な大会が行われました。強風の中、質の高い6レースを満喫しました。運営スタッフ経験が

あってこそできる事です。水族館を貸し切ってのパーティーと豪華な景品はボランティア

とスポンサーのおかげです。

三保の素晴らしいセーリングポイント　（壮大な富士山を見ながらセーリング）

三保は日本でもセーリングに最適なエリアの1つです。湾は岬で囲まれているため、かな

りの悪天候でもセーリングできます。

強風が吹いていても大きな波が立たず湖のようにセーリングできます。湾の外に出れば大

きな波があり上級者も楽しめます。ここでは艇の種類が多くセイラ―の育成にも役立ってい

ます。クラブはオープンな雰囲気があり初級者からトップ選手まで幅広く活動しています

。近くのプロサッカーチームと主要な企業があり素晴らしいコミュニティが広がりそうな

ロケーションです。高速道路から車で簡単にアクセスでき、また新幹線も静岡駅も近いです。三保はセーリングの発展には最適な場所です。是非一度またレースに行きたいところですね。

First of all, I would like to thank all members of the Shimizu yachting Association. Many

members are good and experienced at organizing and doing international races. For

example, in the Snipe, Moth, Laser and 470 classes, as well as being competitive with the

Seahopper class at this Shimizu location. Many local volunteers and sponsors helped us a

lot. The competitors were very happy and in particular, enjoyed 6 very good advanced

races in a challenging strong wind. This was largely a result of the committee’s high level of

organization which we really appreciated. Thanks to the volunteers we had an enjoyable

party.

Great sailing points about Miho in Shimizu

This is one of the best area, for sailing in Japan. You can sail under any conditions because

the bay is protected by a promontory.

Sometimes it is like sailing on a lake, even if strong winds are blowing. Outside the bay

these are huge waves, where also you can sail. The club offers many different kinds of sail

boats giving opportunity for sailor to grow and develop experience. The club has a good

open atmosphere and welcomes sailors and boats of all levels. This is great location with

many interesting opportunities to create an excellent community atmosphere between

nearby professional soccer team and leading businesses. There is also easy car access

from the highway.

The shinkansen express train also stops at Shizuoka station. All in all Miho in Shimizu is a

unique place for the increasing development of sailing.
